Anyway, Wanted to come on here to panic a bit. They released the Ozzfest '05 lineup, and nowhere do I see Anthrax on the lineup! I heard a rumor that there's supposed to be a "Mystery" suprise band, and I'm still hoping it's them, but I'm gonna be pretty pissed if they're not on it. I even dug out all my ancient 'thrax cds and have been jamming the old school for a week now in preperation for this.......I'm gonna be livid if it dosen't happen.

I'm still gonna go, I mean, I've never seen Maiden (who btw have made the statement that they are going to be doing the Piece Of Mind tour! only material from the first 4 disks! This is gonna kick serious ass, even if there's no Wasted Years or Powerslave) and I have never seen Shadows Fall (whom I've been getting into majorly lately) I'd like to see In Flames again, and I would like to go see BLS again, even tho I'm seeing them the end of April.

Anyway, POST ON HERE BITCHES! I miss you and stuff.

I don't think Anthrax is going to be on the Ozzfest. Word has it they weren't happy with the money offered. I think they'll be on the Megadave package tor that's going around this summer.

Since the Ozzfest is Aug 7th this year, it appears this years Aaaahjfest will be at Ozzfest. I'm going to try and camp out for the fest, do some tubing etc. Anyone else interested?

hanging around a mix of drunken mullets and drunken jocks is NOT in my agenda for this summer. besides, i get enough of the drunken mullets at motley tuesdays every week.

totally pumped for maiden though, that is my selling point. and probably the only reason i am going.

I'll second the notion that Maiden is the selling point this year. I mean, I've already seen In Flames, and I'd like to see Shadows Fall, but I'm already going to see BLS end of April, and no one else on the bill really trips my trigger, so I agree that Maiden is the only band putting my butt in a seat, so to speak.

I dont know about camping or not. It just dosen't sound like a great idea, with all the retards in full alcoholic splendor. I think I'd rather reserve a hotel room several months in advance. Either that or crash with some homies (hint hint hehe)

This will be my 5th year camping for Ozzfest. I've never had any problems. I'd rather deal with drunken mullets that deal with traffic and police traps.

While Maiden is the big reason to go, there's also the big "mystery" guest, The Fucking Haunted and Black Dahlia Murder.
