On a slightly related note, I'm making my neice and nephew comp CDs for Xmas. Why? Cause I'm a cheap poor bastard and they bad taste in music. I caught my nephew downloading ***shudders*** distrubed (no, not Earl's old band). I forced him to immediately listen to SYL. That seems to have worked for now.
Still working on the track listing, but I got a few ideas. Any suggestions? The both listen to 93sux and like H.I.M.

YOU ALL LISTEN TO OLD SAD BASTARD MUSIC AND MAKE OLD SAD BASTARD MIXES.
Anyway, I don't own a CD burner, so I don't often make mixes. The last mix I made (other than my ill-fated bullet CD) was for The Aaaahj (I made him a mix CD before he could make me one, therefore beating him at his own game. I am awesome!)
It starts as an homage to a certain movie...
Let's Get It On (Marvin Gaye) Love Rollercoaster (Red Hot Chili Peppers, because you've gotta kick it up a notch) Dream A Little Dream Of Me (Billie Holiday, because you've got to cool things off) I Feel The Earth Move (Carole King) Patience (Guns and Roses) When You Say Nothing At All (Allison Krauss, ha Glen) Naughty Girl (Beyonce - inside joke) Home Sweet Home (Motley Crue) I Hope That I Don't Fall In Love With You (Tom Waits) Tell Him (Lauryn Hill) Talk Dirty To Me (Poison) Ain't Misbehavin (Ella Fitzgerald) Kissing You (Des'ree) I'm Gonna Make You Love Me (The Jayhawks) I Walk The Line (Johnny Cash) Lover Lay Down (Dave Matthews Band) The Promise (Tracy Chapman) In The Arms Of Sleep (Smashing Pumpkins) You Belong To Me (Bob Dylan)
Well, since I really dont download music anymore, I haven't made one in a long time. The last one I made was for a show set change disk, and we were kinda using it to promote our upcoming show with Six Feet Under. And I threw a few others in for color. It went something like this:
SFU - Hacked To Pieces Fear Factory - Demanufacture SFU - 4-20 Pantera - 5 Minutes Alone Slayer - Raining Blood SFU - Silent Violence Overkill - Coma Megadeth - Holy Wars SFU - War Is Coming Judas Priest - Turbo Lover Suicidal Tendencies - Can't Bring Me Down SFU - Bringer Of Blood Anthrax - What Dosen't Die Pantera - Mouth For War
The Aaaahj- 12-07-2004
Wow, man that is entirely TOO MUCH SFU. Wether your opening for them or not , nobody really needs that much SFU.

Big Unit- 02-01-2005
Looks like a pretty kick ass comp from here Malmstorm! Not a big Night Ranger fan, but otherwise kick ass!
And Glen, I'd probably think your's kicked ass too, that is if I'd heard more than 4 of the bands you listed!
man, you fuckers need to start making some comps to school the Big Unit. Burn em down, write out track lists for em, and get em to me, so I dont feel so damn lost whenever you people start talking music.
