Every time we talk about music, some white boy gotta pull candlemass out of his ass! Candlemass is good, but Primordial is better!

The new Candlemass is a great comeback record but it's no Nightfall.

Black Label Society - Mafia - This cd hasn't left my player for more than a few hours yet! Awesome songs, In This River is one of the best ballads I've ever heard, it was dedicated to Dime. The whole cd is just wicked powerful!

not trying to compare, just with the lackluster amount of quality albums this year - canlemass floored me with the new disc!

anything else, anyone? is there anything worthwhile yet?

Arcuturus - Sideshow Symphonies. Simon doing clean vocals for Arcturus the onlything more I could ask for is a US tour.

The Old Dead Tree is pretty cool too.

I'm looking forward to hearing the Exodus and Ram Zet. I have them but haven't actually listened to 'em yet.

I finally broke down and listened to the new Exodus, cause I don't have anything better to do on a friday night. All I can say is WOW!!!! My jaw is still dropped and the CD ended 10 mins ago.

I was more than a little leary of the vocalist change, but the new guy rule. This will be high on the year end list.

i personally am VERY disappointed by the new ARCTURUS. definitely my least fave of all of theirs. it's still good, it's just really typical. not the "let's redefine arcturus guys" i would have wanted

aside form Marah. I thoroughly enjoyed the new Kamelot, the new End of Green, the new Antimatter, the new Charon, and the new Hypocrisy. as well as some that have already been mentioned

...really, it's a good album. And i love Sideshow Symphonies. Garm has been one of my favorite vocalists for years, but Vortex kicks butt on this one. Me like.

This is because he has to wait until I get home to WATCH STAR TREK THE NEXT GENERATION.

The new Iommi solo album owns.
